How VeraTag Assays Work
VeraTag® assay technology measures stable protein complexes in standard
tissue sample formats from patients, providing the user with decision-critical
knowledge of activated signaling pathways.

VeraTag assays enable the analysis of very small quantities of tumor cells
recovered and prepared using various methods, including formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded
(FFPE) samples, the current standard in hospital pathology laboratories:
- VeraTag technology is standard across different assays/analytes
- VeraTag assays enable characterization of a disease at the molecular level,
providing, accurate, quantitative measurements
- VeraTag assays can detect specific protein complexes, especially receptor
complexes, which initiate many signal transduction cascades in cells and are the targets
for many of the newer cancer therapies
- VeraTag assays can accurately predict a patient's response to a given
therapy, facilitating the selection of more precise and effective therapeutic
options
